Blogs

I had asked a dear friend yes to tell me about some good website from where i can read good management articles and the first thing she said was "you could try blogs"....

i was getting in bored in office with not much work to do and then some one suggested "read a blog naa, there are soo many"

i called mint to ask how her admissions are going on and she said "let me read saad's blog first"

blogs...blogs...blogs...
looks like an epidemic has broken out...looks like dis generation has suddenly transformed into writing and reading stuff on the net...tech freaks...may be dat is why they say 44% (or such was d exact figure) women are always online...could reading blogs be one of the reasons! i wonder!

i had read somewhere that women have "connectivity syndrome " (or some such name) this is actually the reason why women gossip...they talk about themselves, their neighbours, their relations, work, mistakes, their break ups...this is the reason why women are known to be better communicators and better at understanding things...
i now feel that this syndrome is suddenly not just limited to women....it has spread like a deadly virus and is all over the place...its bitten everyone...everyone just everyone...

...dat is the reason why suddenly a coffee house is of lesser importance...suddenly archives and libraries seem boring...talking on your cell with your boyfriend sounds uncool...and just ambling around is almost uncouth....

everyone is now interested to write about themseleves...how did they start their day...what did they think about a certain odd movie that released this friday..suddenly there are not a handful of good film critics on whose comments you could rely on but there are thousands and thousands who want to scream out and let the world know of the director's biggest mistakes...

hmmm...

and to add on there are people who read these blogs and pass their khali time...like these blogs could replace the likes of erich segal, shakespeare, jhumpa lahiri, agatha christie, or even chetan bhagat (the guy is writing crazy books now!someone wake him up from his 5 point someone hysteria!!) doing a peek-a-boo into other people's world has become more important than anything else...

this is not just the only angle to the frame...mud sledging has taken a totally different meaning on blogs...people like amitabh bachchan and srk fight it out on blogs, not just with each other but also with fans who sometimes accuse them wrongly of not thinking about the rest of the world...
i mean iam truely amazed at this new found interface which gives the opportunity to common people to question those who have the name and may be the power, whether they have done any good with all that they have earned and achieved... and then the big ones answer!amazing! so may be some good comes out of all the futileness of the situation...

Blogs...

ultimately even i had thought some months back to shout at the world and let it know of my demure presence too...but then slowly the uselessness and the crowd (here too!!) forced me to withdraw for some time...
but look at me iam back again ready to let everyone know of my opinions through my.........................................BLOG................there you go again!!!!!! hahhahaha !!

Each day is falling short

Looking back at the times when I have imagined the best life with friends......

when I had dreamt of being at the top.....

I still feel that ..........

I still find each day too short......
for all the thoughts I want to think.........
all the walks I want to take........
all the books I want to read.........
and all the friends I want to see............
